Dawson’s Annual Parade

Line up is by 12:00 noon               Parade starts @ 1:00 p.m.

​

Take 1-70 East toward New Stanton.

​

Merge onto PA-51 South via Exit 46A toward Uniontown.

​

Merge onto PA-201 toward Connellsville/PA-201 South.

​

When traveling through Vanderbilt, go slow so that you don’t miss the next turn.

​

Turn SLIGHT LEFT onto Dawson Ave./PA-819.  Continue to follow PA-819.

            If you see a Bus Garage/Parking area on the left you missed the turn.

​

Turn left onto 2nd St/PA-819.  Continue to follow PA-819.

​

Cross over the big bridge.

​

Line-up will be on River Road – if it is the same set-up as the last few years –

which is the first road you come to after you cross the bridge.

​

Lately, we have been to the right of the bridge near a basketball

        court/tennis court.

​

Ask someone carrying a clipboard or wearing a parade staff shirt for our location.

​

The reviewing stand area should be on Main Street.

​

Mt. Pleasant  Annual  Parade

Line-up is by 6:00 p.m.           Parade starts at 7:00 p.m. 

​

Directions for summer of 2019 ...

     Follow I-70 East toward New Stanton.

​

     Take US-119 South toward Connellsville.

​

     Take the exit for PA-31 toward Mt. Pleasant.

​

     You will start to head up hill.  

     This is where you could start to see parade traffic.

​

     At the top of the hill, you will come to the red light intersection of 

        PA-31/Mt. Pleasant Rd & Braddock Rd.

          (Parade staff members will most likely be standing at this intersection.

          Let them know you are with the Martinettes.)

 

       This is where PA-31 becomes W. Main Street.

          Line-up for us usually takes place on this road.

          We usually line up around the Sunoco Station 

                    (which will be on your right) and the 

          Good Shepherd Lutheran Church 

                    (which will be on your left.)

Directions prior to the 2019 Season...

     Follow I-70 East to PA-31 East toward Mt. Pleasant

​

     Take Exit 51A to merge onto PA-31 E/Mt. Pleasant Rd.

​

     Follow PA-31 E/Mt. Pleasant Rd all the way into Mt. Pleasant

          You will cross over Rt-119 and then head up hill. 

          This is where you could start to see parade traffic.

​

Monessen Parade

Line-up is by 4:00 p.m.          Parade starts at 5:00 p.m.

Line up location is the Civic Center Parking Lot @ 861 Donner Avenue

Parade will end at the Firemen's Social Hall at Eastgate 15
